For omkring 50 Ă„r siden startede Billy Walker sin karriere i whiskyindustrien, og han arbejdede i en lang Ă„rrĂŠkke med at skabe nogle af industriens mest unikke blends. Nu er han tilbage ved rĂždderne med denne helt enestĂ„ende blend, der er en komposition af maltwhisky fra forskellige skotske destillerier (herunder naturligvis GlenAllachie) samt en lille andel gammel grainwhisky. Billyâs endelige sammensĂŠtning af de forskellige whiskyer, har efterfĂžlgende modnet i hele tre Ă„r i en kombination af Oloroso/PX Puncheons samt Virgin Oak casks.

Commenting on the landmark release, Walker said: âThis whisky is particularly close to my heart. Creating this blend took me back almost 50 years to when I started my career at Hiram Walker. It was there I started to learn the art of blending and the specialist skills required to select whiskies that when interfaced with each other ultimately amplified the overall flavour experience.
âWith White Heather, I poured everything Iâve learned on my whisky journey into crafting a truly memorable small batch aged blend that sits proudly alongside even the very best single malts. I wanted to honour the original blend whilst recreating it in a much more premium form with exceptional wood. Itâs a fine balance bringing together the character of such different whiskies and cask types, but Iâm incredibly proud to now unveil the end result.â
